Get Your bearings in Cape Town South Africa
There is no beautiful city like Cape Town South Africa that offers a blend of cultures, cuisines, and natural beauty. The iconic Table Mountain provides panoramic views from botanical gardens, the glittering Atlantic to the city’s most fine beaches. The range of mind-blowing activities the city offers from biking, surfing, paragliding, trekking, to hiking makes any lazy traveller a hyper personality. Care to watch some whales and dare to cage dive with sharks? It all happens only in one place and that is Cape Town! Below are some of the spectacular bearings you must embrace while you are here.

1. Table Mountain

One of the new seven wonders of nature! You really can’t get enough of the beauty that surrounds it until you climb to the top of this iconic mountain. How about a selfie on the most photographed place of South Africa!

2.Wander Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens

Part of the Cape Floristic Region UNESCO World Heritage site, Wander Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens is a gorgeous setting on the slopes of the already magnificent Table Mountain. The gardens have been preserving indigenous flora since 1902 becoming one of the world’s first botanical gardens on this mission.

3. Clifton and Camps Bay Beaches

Located about six km from the Cape city centre, these white-sand beaches are bordered by granite boulders that are constantly washed by beautiful and crisp blue seas. If you arrive at the right time, surfing is an option apart from playing volleyball or crashing the sand.

4. The Cape Wheel

It is impossible to miss the gigantic cape wheel situated closer to the Victoria & Alfred waterfront. The wheel contains 30 air-conditioned cabins and provides 360-degree birds-eye views of the beautiful surroundings. Operates daily between 9 am to 7 pm, believe it or not, it definitely is gonna be the best 15 minutes of your life!

Safety tips

• Tourist areas – Travel only within tourist areas. V&A Waterfront, Long Street, Camps Bay, Seat Point are to name some.
