Highlights of Dubai

Burj Al Arab in Dubai

Renowned for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and gold trading, Dubai is a modern paradise located in the Middle East. Certainly the shopping malls are shelters of paradise themselves with everything you can imagine, especially designed with family entertainment in mind.

iVisa.com Construction does not seem to stop here. The Dubai Metro now has 49 stations on two lines and is set to expand with a further four lines planned. Burj Khalifa tower is a 160 story sky scraper with an observation deck, competing with other towers in the area.

Recreation is big business in Dubai. There is a man-made beach area called La Mer with eateries. It has a Mediterranean feel,. In contrast the Burg Al Arab Jumeirah is a luxury hotel with its own beach.

There is also a resort complex called Palm Beach  with a water park, aquarium and parachuting activities.

You can also plan a night desert safari if you would like, and eat Arab style under the stars. Ride a camel or go four wheel buggy driving.

Besides your day time activities, you will find that the hotels provide the nightlife. There are strict drinking laws. But being more liberal than its Arab neighbours, westerners can still enjoy themselves here. Indeed there is so much to do and see.
