Testimonials:

“Within only one day we discussed with Khaled the whole trip in Egypt, although I intended to make a tour for only one day or two in Cairo with him. Khaled showed his professional way to interact with clients, and I was soon convinced to make the whole tour with him.

His knowledge of Egyptology is outstanding, and he also addresses all aspects of local life.
He organised everything, flights within Egypt, Nile cruise, entrance fees, transport and anything you asked him for.
I recommend everyone to ask for Khaled if you want to go for a tour all over Egypt, I would do it again. Thanks to Khaled, it was a nice time , enjoyed it very much — Wolfgang, Germany

We booked Khaled for an 8-day tour and felt perfectly taken care of from the first minute to the last. Khaled took care of everything from tickets to all over transportation within our tour.

This started in Cairo and went via the Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara, Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel, Khan Elkhalili, Luxor and from there with aNile cruise to the temples at Karnak, from Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings and Edfu and Com Ombo and ended in Aswan with a visit to the dam and a Nubian village.

Khaled is very knowledgeable and was always able to answer all our questions. He was responsive to our requests for visits and then organised them quickly and without complications.

Anyone who travels to Egypt and is looking for a great guide must book Khaled. With him it was a lot of fun to discover and understand the Egyptian culture.

If we travel to Egypt again, Khaled will definitely be our guide!“— Tino, Germany

Our tour guide Khaled showing a group around the pyramids

When it comes to ancient civilisations the Egyptians remain one of the most marvellous. Outstandingly advanced for their time, the Pharaohs reigned supreme. Indeed testament to their grandness and glory, they built pyramids as burial grounds. Moreover they were buried along with their treasures in the belief that this would safeguard their passage in their after.

Certainly the ancient world of the Egyptians is a mystery to this day. However you can visit the Egyptian Antiquities Museum to find out more. Enjoy the amazing treasures of this ancient kingdom. Another historical museum of note includes the Memphis Museum.

iVisa.com On the other hand there are other museums that may be of interest. For example take the Abdeen Palace Museum. It served as a royal palace until the end of the Egyptian monarchy in 1952. Or the Umm Kolthoum Museum. A dedication to one of the most famous Arabic singers who died in 1975. Small but interesting. And the Unknown Soldier Monument is also a memorial to the arab visionary President Anwar Sadat who was assassinated by his adversaries in the boulevard opposite. An honorary guard keeps watch.

Cairo is a bustling city with a population of 19.5 million. The traffic and noise is horrendous. Three cars battle for two lanes and the pollution can be stifling. Watch out for the cyclists too. More like conjurors as they balance with their daily bread or trays of chicken eggs. But don’t let that put you off. There are some fascinating ways to enjoy this city.

Check out the Museum of Islamic Art, the Museum of Coptic Art or the Egyptian Textile Museum.

Besides these activities take an immersion tour to full get to understand its past culture and history. Alternatively watch a Sound & Light Show depicting Egypt’s past. Go to the open bazaar in Khan AL-Khalili to buy a trinket or two, or see the street of the Tentmakers – Sharia Khayamiya. Go on a dinner cruise and watch the whirling dervishes as they spin round and round. You get dizzy just watching them. Alternative entertainment comes in the form of belly dancers too.

A city rich to explore. Book a Solo Tour Guide to help you get the most of your visit.
